Bianca Recuenco uses she/they pronouns and is a queer, Filipina American film and digital photographer based in Seattle, WA.

Engaging with photography is one of the greatest privileges she possesses because she has the unique opportunity to manifest dreamscapes into her material reality. That said, expansive creative freedom brings with it both personal responsibility and accountability. In her artistic practice, she wants to hold space for folks to fully embody and embrace their authentic truths. She wants to shift and deconstruct culture only to piece it back together again. She wants her photos to serve as documentation to the continuity that is life and mirrors to the beings she has the honor of existing with. One photo at a time.
